Meet The Team


Tom currently works with a number of dealer clients along with many of the largest lead providers in the automotive space, supporting their need for timely and friendly service. Previously, he spent more than 16 years in the computer software business as the Director of Sales and VP of Marketing for one of the fastest growing software companies in the country, Campbell Services. He has also provided consulting for a number of automotive clients and was co-founder of World Wide Tee Time which was the only product used to remotely book tee times by the USGA’s Florida tournament.

Jeff brings an extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of dealer operations from variable operations to fixed operations.  Jeff works to ensure that DTCo. has the most effective dealer products and strategy that make practical sense for dealers looking to acquire quality lead solutions that drive sales.
Before joining Detroit Trading in January of 2007, Jeff served 10 years as an executive at the Reynolds and Reynolds Company which is a leading provider of technology based dealer solutions ranging from dealer management systems to CRM systems.  Jeff began his career at Reynolds working with individual dealers groups working and developing new products and ended as an executive in their sales organization.  Prior to his time with Reynolds and Reynolds, Jeff worked for the Outward Bound School which is a world renowned outdoor leadership school.
Jeff received his degree from the University of Dayton School of Business where he majored in Accounting and Finance.   Jeff lives in the Detroit area with his wife and two daughters.

For nearly 12 years, Raab has been focusing on the opportunity, promise and problems facing OEMs, automotive dealers, lead generators and lead aggregators within in the digital spectrum.  His digital career began in 1999 with StoneAge.com, one of the true pioneers in the 3rd party lead space. He has experienced the full lead spectrum, from consumer lead origination to retail/wholesale distribution to dealer lead processes and management.  Raab has had the privilege of working for a number of successful entrepreneurs, an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner (Great Lakes Region/Technology) and two Inc.500 Companies.
Jeff is currently focused on helping OEMs improve their third party lead performance and continues to accelerate Detroit Trading’s advances in new car lead purchasing through the introduction of Lead Scoring and Predictive Analytics on the Detroit Trading Exchange. Jeff holds two Bachelor of Science Degrees from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and currently lives in the Detroit area with his wife and two children.

Jeremy recently joined the DT team, working to expand Detroit Trading’s lead generation network by building key relationships with a customer base that includes numerous call centers, consumer facing websites, and online media professionals. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree, with an emphasis in Business Administration, from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.

Matt McDonald is responsible for the delivery of Detroit Trading Company’s technology and IT platforms and infrastructure in addition to providing lead solutions to newspaper customers. Matt brings over 13 years of experience in the automotive leads business in both sales as well as technology.  Previously, Matt was the Chief Technology Officer at StoneAge.com/Car.com for 7 years where he helped to build a revolutionary IT infrastructure that enabled revenue growth from $1.2 million to more than $30 million.   Most recently, Matt was the General Manager of CarCast (later sold to IzmoCars) where he led the division to record revenues.
Matt earned his degree from Central Michigan University, and currently resides in the Detroit area with his family.

Randy oversees product development for Detroit Trading Company. Randy has over 15 years of experience as a product architect for enterprise software companies and also as a leader of software development teams and organizations. Randy earned a BS from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 1994 and an ME from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs in 2003.

Jerome has been with Detroit Trading since 2006, when he began assisting in the technical integration of new buyers and sellers into the DT Lead Exchange. Currently a software developer, he helps create and maintain many of the software and Internet applications used at Detroit Trading, such as the commercial websites, lead delivery, reporting, and buyer payment systems. Jerome attended Marygrove College, OCC, and Oakland University, majoring in computer science.

Chandana Sharma has been with Detroit Trading since 2008. She works on the development and maintenance of various DTCo. products including various websites, buyer integrations and third-party components. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Science from the Vishveswaraiah Technological University in India.

With over 17 years of administrative and customer service experience, Mary brings a clear vision and approach to servicing our clients.  She is responsible for all billing and collection efforts for Detroit Trading Company. Mary attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI and currently resides in the Detroit area with her husband and son.

Rebecca joined Detroit Trading Company in December 2004 and handles all of the human resources duties for the company.  With over 15 years of experience working in start-up companies, Becky brings a unique skill set to the organization, and understands the specific needs of Detroit Trading and its employees. She lives in the Detroit area with her husband Pete and their children Patrick, Lilla and Sean.

Alison’s first-hand experience working with dealers’ internet departments has helped her to build an understanding of the need for quality leads in creating an efficient CRM process. With a background in marketing, she is currently focused on building the Detroit Trading Company brand, promoting our products and services through the use of varied outlets, and supporting the internal lead generation tools. She is also working to build relationships with knowledgeable professionals in the lead trading space while highlighting Detroit Trading’s cornerstone beliefs of integrity and innovation. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.

One of Detroit Trading’s most recent additions, Jarrett handles the integration of new lead sellers into DT’s network. He works closely with many different sellers while helping them prepare to sell leads to Detroit Trading in addition to ensuring that the leads are being submitted correctly. He is currently working towards his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at Oakland University.
